Snow won’t stop this city girl from hitting the streets! Not when she’s in her brand new Brooklyn snow boots. These 9 1/2” high boots have a waterproof icebug nylon shaft, molded EVA insole, and a non-marking synthetic rubber City sole with winter specific lugs that bite into snow and ice.
These boots are crafted with DriDefence waterproof bootie construction. A faux fur collar provide a superb level of comfort while the foam and fleece insulation provide cold comfort up to -40˚F / –40˚C . The padded collar and waterproof gusset tongue makes it impossible for snow to slide through the laces of these boots.
These boots have been Performance-tested and certified to -40˚F or –40˚C by the Center for Textile Technology in Quebec. At Kamik they test all their products in-house to ensure they meet their strict quality standards. Then they send them to an outside testing center (Performance Testing Council Inc.) for further rigorous tests. Please remember that how you perceive temperature can also depend on exposure time, proper dress for weather conditions, perspiration and other factors.
