I recently purchased a pair of these boots. I am a working man and use my footwear around the farm. After wearing the boots for a few days the following issues developed. 1. The nails in the sole started popping, 2. the ?comfort cushion? inside the boot peeled back when the boot was removed, 3. the sole on the right boot is uneven, rounded actually, and causes my foot roll inward at the toe and 4. the top of the boot where the lining is attached to the leather is so rough that it chaffed my skin raw I purchased these boots to replace another pair of well made cowboy boots I bought while working in Australia and thought that these might be comparable. These boots are really inadequate, poorly constructed and not worth the price I paid for them. A $221 boot should not have these issues, especially within in the first few days of use. I don?t limp, hobble, drag my feet, kick hard objects or cook soup in my boots. My other footwear has normal, even wear patterns, so the issue is not how I walk, but what I?m walking in. On the other hand they do look nice.
