Crafted out of a softer and more flexible memory felt, soft wool felt cowboy hats retain their original shape better than standard wool felt hats. Some come with wire brims sewn into them, which allows the individual to shape the brim. The brims are usually slightly smaller then ridged wool cowboy hats. Crown options include cattleman, bullrider, pinchfront, gus, and gambler crowns. Select styles have chinstraps for stability while riding.
