Australian Hats, also know as Bush Hats, are recognizable by their flat crown and flat brim ranging in depth from about 2 1/4 to 3 1/2 wide. Their brims are available with either a hidden wire for stability and shaping or wireless so that the hat can be folded up into a pouch when not in use. The bands are usually simple. Most commonly a braided leather band trims this hat style.
