These earrings are 1 7/8" tall from the top of the posts. The stones measure approximately 1 3/8" in length. White Mountain Stone is often called White Buffalo Turquoise, due to its discovery in a turquoise mine and to its formation by the same mineralization process as "regular" turquoise. White Mountain composed of Magnesite with Limonite lacks the presence of heavy metals copper, iron or zinc which add the "turquoise colors" in the blue-green-yellow spectrum.
