The Mount Roseg snow boot from Kamik provides all day warmth and super modern style that can’t be beat. These 12” high snow boots are crafted from waterproof nylon with suede leather trim. There Urban rubber soles are lightweight with winter specific multi-directional lugs that grip snow and ice.
These boots feature GORE-TEX® 2000 GTX waterproof booties. Gore-tex® keeps feet dry, warm and protected by being durably waterproof and breathable and is an engineered system which provides leading climate comfort.
These boots have a cushioned EVA midsole and removable Kamik comfort insole that supports and cradles the foot for all day comfort and soft fleece lining. The fixed 200B Thinsulate™ and foam insulation provide cold comfort up to -25˚F / –32˚C. Thinsulate™ is a unique micro fiber developed by 3M, Thinsulate™, that has more surface area to trap warm air, insulating better than other high loft insulations, including down.
These boots have been Performance-tested and certified to -25˚F or –32˚C by the Center for Textile Technology in Quebec. At Kamik they test all their products in-house to ensure they meet their strict quality standards. Then they send them to an outside testing centre (Performance Testing Council Inc.) for further rigorous tests. Please remember that how you perceive temperature can also depend on exposure time, proper dress for weather conditions, perspiration and other factors.
