Whether you're on an adventure or you're galloping for the fun of it, the Alamo 5X fur cowboy hat will be the perfect hat. This hat is from Milano Hats and the Larry Mahan Hat Collection, showing several silver rectangles with gold stars in the centers. These conchos are placed all around the self matching hat band that is placed between a cattleman crown and a 4" brim. The interior is black satin lining with a white center and a black and white cowboy including the Larry Mahan Hat Collection logo. Available in sizes 6 5/8 to 8.

Born November 21, 1943 in Salem, Oregon, Larry Mahan began competing in the professional rodeo circuit at the age of 14. He won the title of World All-Around Rodeo Champion five years in a row, 1966 to 1970, and again for the sixth time in 1973. After his comeback in 1973, competing with Phil Lyne, he became the subject of the documentary, “The Great American Cowboy” which won an Academy Award in 1973. In 1979 Mahan was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.

After his rodeo career came to an end, he founded the Larry Mahan Collection line of western wear. In July 1984, Milano Hat Company entered into a licensing agreement with Larry Mahan to market Western hats under the Larry Mahan's® Hat Collection.

They perforate most of the straw hat leather sweatbands for added comfort. To ensure the consistent fit and comfort, their leather suppliers buff the reverse side of the leathers for the best possible feel.
