The Twisted X Technology/Cowboy Comfort™ sole composition includes, from the bottom up, a roper heel, a 40k™ genuine country road crepe outsole, a PVC midsole, an XSD™ insole and an SD™ footbed. The XSD™ insole features a patent pending one-piece insole with injected composite X shank for maximum stability. The SD™ footbed is a moisture wicking, antibacterial and machine washable footbed. The Twisted X Brandon men's moccasin boot is available in regular width sizes 7 1/2 to 13.

Composite Toes wont set off metal detectors and are generally lighter than steel toes. A steel toe has a piece of steel inside the tip at about 2 1/2 inches to protect the toes.
