Top Hats

Add a touch of class with this whimsical hat, recognizable by its tall flat crown and narrow brim. Predominantly worn by high society and politicians during the later part of the 18th century to the mid 20th century, this hat has been called a High hat, Chimney pot hat, Stovepipe hat, and a Topper. In the United States the top hat was worn during presidential inaugurations until 1961. In more recent years this hat has been associated with white tie, top hat and tail events. It is worn as a fashion statement or as work attire.
